Just another weblog

edit: thought this was pretty damn amazing

Hello all

I am in the process of editing all my reviews for the past week, those will be up later tonight or more likely tomorrow afternoon after class. Tomorrow and Thursday are my last chances to see Synecdoche, New York, in my area at least so hopefully I’ll get a chance to go. On that note, I really hope to get a chance to see Milk this weekend but I have a couple of papers due at the beginning of the week and I also need to start preparing for finals so that may be put on hold.

A good deal of buzz going around about Roman Polanski and his attempt to get his charges dropped, the best of the articles I have read today is here. I’ve been pushing through It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and I have fallen in love with the show, it is absolutely hysterical. I am very proud of our Falcons, allowing only one sack in the past four games and Matt Ryan has only thrown one interception in the last five, huge game this weekend against New Orleans but I am optimistic. As of right now we have the sixth wild card spot and our competition is Dallas and maybe Washington, both have an amazingly difficult remaining schedule.

Today, besides school and work, I went out and bought Wanted (Blu-Ray) and Step Brothers, pictures after this paragraph. I was very pleased with Wanted and I think that Step Brothers is going to get a ton of playtime in our home. The Wanted slip cover is incredible by the way, the most impressive Blu-Ray cover art I’ve seen thus far.

I’ve decided to pick back up on LOST over the winter break, and try and watch all four seasons before the next one premiers, I am looking forward to it.

I’ll update again soon, thanks for reading.

Currently Listening: tons of Dear and the Headlights

Currently Reading: Kitchen Confidential last leg of it at least, I have fallen in love with it.

  1. Thomas,

I’m thinking you wouldn’t go to this movie anyway, but avoid “Australia” at all costs. Yikes. So very bad I walked out on it–cliched, bad writing, bad performances, lame attempts at cuteness, just awful. Even the vaunted scenery couldn’t keep me in the theater. I tried it for about 1 hour and just couldn’t take it anymore. I thought it would be a nice, relaxing way to spend some time after Christmas shopping–wrong! Watched Le Cercle Rouge last night and both Al and I enjoyed that a lot.
