Hello all

I am taking a break from a paper that I am writing in order to post these reviews, I am almost halfway finished with the paper that all I have to do is study for Spanish for the rest of the day.

70. Cidade dos Homens (Paulo Morelli, 2007) – 7.5/10 <- – I have been trying to get my hands on this since it came out on DVD and it FINALLY came through Blockbuster Online last week and it took me a few days to get around to it. I was very impressed overall, it did not leave the same affect that City of God had on me, but it was a very well-made, interesting movie. It’s worth checking out and far from a waste of time.

71. (revisit) 300 (Zack Snyder, 2007) – 6.5/10 <- – I am a big fan of this movie, and I think that I always will be. We were just kind of sitting around the other night and decided to pop this in, in fact a good deal of the films on this list are like that.

72. The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (Mark Herman, 2008) – 7/10 <- – I would like to start this off by saying that this is an absolutely DEVASTATING film, I really cannot go into much without giving a good deal away about the story. It’s a well-shot, well-acted film, it just lacks in quality a bit in the first half but really picks up the pace in the second, and to be honest I would have given it a five or so if it weren’t for the brilliant finish. I would recommend at least one viewing.

73. (revisit) Role Models (David Wain, 2008) – 5/10 <- – Reviewed before

74. (revisit) The Big Lebowski (Joel Coen, 1998) – 8/10 <- – Reviewed before

75. Futurama – Into the Wild Green Yonder (Peter Avanzino, 2009) – NA/10 <- – All I am going to say is I really enjoyed this, all four of the movie releases have been great.

76. (revisit) V for Vendetta (James McTeigue, 2005) – 7.5/10 <- – Reviewed before

I did not watch too many films this week, but will be watching a couple later today. I picked up Deja Vu, Funny Games(original), Match Point, and The Man Who Wasn’t There for really cheap at Movie Stop yesterday.

I am going to try and finish this paper by around three-thirty, wish me luck. Thank you for reading!
